Seven years ago, I launched The Crafty Cask with a dream: to celebrate and support craft alcohol makers while helping consumers understand the importance of voting with their dollars and drinking craft. Together, we’ve raised countless glasses, learned from passionate craft makers, and built a community, Tippler Nation, I’ll cherish forever.
As much as it pains me to say it, the time has come for The Crafty Cask to evolve. After years of being a scrappy, self-funded business working alongside small makers who often face financial challenges themselves, we’ve realized that most of our services and product offerings simply aren’t sustainable for the business or my limited resources.
What’s Next?
While we’re closing the chapter on all of our maker-facing and some of our consumer-facing services, The Crafty Cask isn’t disappearing entirely. We’ll continue offering and focusing our energy and resources solely on Corporate Virtual Craft Alcohol Tasting Events & Mixology Classes. These have brought connection and craft alcohol education to teams and companies worldwide as well as increased brand awareness and sales (over $750k!) of craft alcohol since early 2020.

For the most part, we will also no longer be producing new web content, newsletters, or social media updates. These were never critical to our corporate events business, so continuing to spend time there simply doesn’t make sense as we streamline.
However, sharing my tipples and travels with all of you will be a hard habit to break! So, while our accounts will be mostly inactive, you’ll likely still see occasional content. I’ll never stop sharing my passion for craft alcohol, the makers, and the incredible community it creates!
